Patti Smith confirmed for End Of The Road 2012
End Of The Road festival have announced that their “very special guest” for this year’s event is none other than Patti Smith
The American singer recently released her latest album Banga last month and appeared at Hop Farm just this past weekend.
The festival had this to say about their very last addition to the bill:
“We have been huge fans of Patti Smith’s work for many years and to have her finally play our festival is frankly surreal and a real honour,” said the festival’s directors. “There are few musicians whose names alone can evoke such a vast array of images, sounds and stories as Patti Smith’s”.
Also part of the line-up for the 2012 leg are the likes of Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Dirty Three and Graham Coxon.
The Dorset event takes place between 31 August – 2 September. More info and tickets found here.
