Passion Pit gave away free chaffeur rides to lucky fans so that they could hear new LP Kindred
On 16 April, Passion Pit headlined Camden's Electric Ballroom, and gave five sets of lucky fans a night to remember.
The first 70 fans through the doors were given a free 7" vinyl, customised by Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos and friends. Five of these discs contained a special 'golden ticket', which allowed the recipients to hear the album ahead of its release while being driven home by a personal chaffeur.

Kindred is out now on Columbia. In our review, we said that the album, Passion Pit's first since 2012's Gossamer, "Kindred is a potent reminder of his prowess as a writer, delivered in a quick, forthright burst; it’s not the finest showcase for the sheer diversity he’s capable of as Passion Pit, but it does stake a claim - context considered - for his ongoing importance."
