Para Alta return with UV-drenched new track "Turn the Lights Out"
Melodic indie quartet Para Alta are back with a new offering "Turn the Lights Out".
Earlier this year when Para Alta delivered "Dusk" we said they were making the "best melodic indie music around right now".
Today they return with "Turn the Lights Out", which frontman Johnny Bee describes further, "“Turn the Lights Out’ is a song that expresses the incompatibility of two lovers in a relationship that’s on its way out. The lyrics came to me when I was out surfing one morning, the sun was beaming over the choppy waves and it created this natural yin-yang effect. It was a really humbling moment that influenced the theme of the song.”
Alongside their new track Para Alta have announced a compilation they'll be releasing next March called Greatest Hits 2016-2019. The compilation will be supported by PRSF, Key Productions, Metropolis Studios and Music Glue.
Para Alta play a handful of UK shows over the coming months, including London's The Monarch on 2 November. Find out more.
