Outkast's Big Boi working with Dr Dre on new album
Having recently sold Beats to Apple for $3 million (and becoming hip-hop’s first billionaire in the process), you’d expect Dr. Dre to quit his day job for a while. But instead it appears that the work never stops, with Dre reportedly recording the next album from Big Boi.
The Outkast man confirmed the news recently to Huffington Post, having just penned a new deal with Epic Records.
“The album I’m not gonna rush,” Big Boi said. “I wanted to put something out before the end of the year. It depends, because me and Dre got a lot of work to do from now until the end of October.”
We will, however, hear “three singles” this summer. More news on those when we have it.
