Ouri announces debut album with lead tracks "Chains" and "High & Choking Pt. 1"
Montreal's Ouri, who recently collaborated with Helena Deland as Hildegard, has announced her debut solo album Frame of a Fauna, and has released "Chains" and "High & Choking Pt. 1" as the lead singles.
"Chains" and "High & Choking Pt. 1" are the first new releases from Ouri since releasing Hildegard's self-titled debut album with Helena Deland in June, and is accompanied by news of the Montreal-based musician's debut solo album Frame of a Fauna.
Pitchfork reports that Ouri said in a press release, "Between fragmented souvenirs and sonic explorations, Frame of a Fauna navigates mutable identity, magnetism and initiating a sense of belonging in an eclectic sound. Mixing classical, field recordings, and electronic and future trip-hop, this album provides a soundtrack to reflect your own shapes and space in this lifetime."
