Online petition calls for XL Recordings to release a Jai Paul album
Everyone loves an online petition, don’t they? Whether it’s to erect a Wiley statue in East London or for Kanye West to curate the Venice Art Biennale. Now there’s one calling for a Jai Paul album to be released.
You may remember the closest thing we got to a LP came earlier this year in the form of an unauthorised leak of unfinished demos. This doesn’t seem to have fulfilled the fans of the ever-elusive musician, however.
“2 singles in 3 years aren’t enough. We want more!,” the petition reads. “The “leak” was seriously the best album of this year. Unfortunately we cannot reward him for this Masterpiece.”
“So please XL Recordings,” it continues. “Give Jai the chance to release an album.”
