New organisation E-MU, which has been launched by the founders of Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), have announced the UK and Europe’s first online music degree.
E-MU are launching the internet-led project, offering full B.A qualifications in Creative Music Performance, Creative Songwriting and Innovation in Artist Management, with tutorials and guidance given over the internet.
“Online study gives you that flexibility – you can design your own study path and manage your week to fit your lifestyle,” a course prospectus reads. “You can create your own experience ensuring your final qualification has equipped you with the skills you need to advance your career”.
The course will cost £3,500 a year for a 4 year course and £4,500 annually for a 2 year course, launching this week (2 December).
