
Oneohtrix Point Never remixes The Weeknd's "Dawn FM"
Oneohtrix Point Never, a credited producer on The Weeknd's Dawn FM album, has remixed the album's opener and title-track "Dawn FM".
The Weeknd's Dawn FM album arrived in January, and saw Abel Tesfaye work with Oneohtrix Point Never, Max Martin, Oscar Holter and more, and now Oneohtrix Point Never, real name Daniel Lopatin, has unveiled his remix of the album's opener and title-track "Dawn FM".
Lopatin and The Weeknd have become frequent collaborators in recent years. They worked together on songs for the Uncut Gems soundtrack in 2019, and Oneohtrix Point Never worked onn The Weeknd's After Hours album, and was also the musical director for The Weeknd's Super Bowl LV halftime show in 2021.
Last month The Weeknd's Dawn FM album made the Polaris Music Prize 2022 longlist. The shortlist will be revealed next Thursday (14 July).
