Off Bloom, Rag’n’Bone Man, Georgia and Raye lead Google's Ones To Watch for 2017
Google Play Music have named ten artists they're tipping for big things in 2017 as they launch their own take on the yearly list we're all utterly obsessed with/bored by in equal measures.
Algorithms are involved in the selection, we're told, but we're made up in particular for RAYE, Off Bloom, Sampha Georgia who all feature on the list. They're joined by Rag’n’Bone Man, JP Cooper, Will Joseph Cook, Bebe Rexha, Tom Walker and Creeper.
Google has also announced its new-look music streaming app — which now combines signals including location, activity and past listening habits to provide a new way to offer users the right music. As today also marks the signing off of the new British surveillance law, it's truly a big day for massive organisations knowing even more about us.
