of Montreal have announced details about their new album, ‘Paralytic Stalks’, as well as plans of a forthcoming ‘Cassette box set’ release.
Frontman Kevin Barnes has revealed that the band are in the studio putting the finishing touches on what will be the Georgian outfit’s 11th LP.
Barnes also stated that the record will show inspiration drawn from modern classical music. “It’s still very much a colorful pop record”, Barnes recently told Pitchfork.

The box set cassette list is as follows:
Cherry Peel
The Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy
The Gay Parade
Coquelicot Asleep in the Poppies: A Variety of Whimsical Verse
Aldhils Arboretum
Satanic Panic in the Attic
The Sunlandic Twins
