Obama praises Kanye musically, disses him personally
It’s well-known that Barack Obama and Kanye West share some unlikely beef. But this hasn’t stopped the U.S President from listening to Yeezus, it seems.
Back in 2009, Obama called Kanye a “jackass” following the infamous Taylor Swift VMA incident and earlier this year criticised his relationship with Kim Kardashian. The rapper has responded by accusing the politician of name-dropping him to sound cool.
Now, in an interview with People, Obama has said he’d rather hang out with the cast of Duck Dynasty than Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. “Kanye’s music is outstanding though,” he added, however. “I’ve got a lot of his stuff on my iPad. If it was a concert, then I might not mind listening to him.”
