NOS Alive 2021 postponed until 2022 due to "current pandemic situation"
Today (20 May) it's been announced that NOS Alive 2021 has been postponed until 2022 due to concerns over the "current pandemic situation".
Portugal's NOS Alive festival has been postponed for the second consecutive year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The postponement was announced earlier today (20 May) via the festival's socials, confirming that organisers were forced to postpone this year's 14th edition due to the "current pandemic situation".
NOS Alive's statement reads, "The 14th edition of NOS Alive is officially postponed to July 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2022. Our mission is, and always will be, to give you the stage to create the best memories, to the sound of the biggest names in music, always with the best poster. Unique moments that make us shiver and fall in love on the days and nights that inspire and dance even the most timid hearts. We are looking forward to returning to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés to welcome you with open arms, but keeping in mind the current pandemic situation that limits circulation between countries, most tours for the summer of 2021 are unfeasible, which forces us to postpone the festival for 2022."
The statement added, "It is not a decision that we take lightly, but because of the responsibility we have towards the safety of all fans, artists, sponsors, partners, suppliers, security, cleaning and restoration teams, technical and production teams, the entire team. NOS Alive and towards the country, is the most correct."
Bilhetes disponíveis a partir do dia 24 de maio de 2021.
