Noonie Bao's new single "Reminds Me" is two minutes of euphoric "castle pop"
Sweden's Noonie Bao has shared "Remind Me", a new single/video that is out now via her own imprint 2ManyFreckles.
Bao says of the single/video: “The film Jane Eyre with Mia Wasikowska was a great inspiration for this production. I wanted it to sound like the dark woods, huge castles and desperation. The song is about that, about preferring to feel pain rather than not knowing anything at all. I call it Castle Pop.”
Sebastian Mlynarski directs the clip (he also helmed Bao's "I'm In Love" video), which is like a collage set to music, featuring ripped clips and shards of nature warped and doctored into a piece of patchwork bliss.
The new single follows last year's acclaimed Noonia EP.
