No Direction Home festival scrapped as organisers focus on End Of The Road
Following 2013′s cancellation of No Direction Home festival, the Nottinghamshire fest’s organisers have confirmed they’ve now ceased to continue with the venture altogether.
The off-shoot festival of End Of The Road had previously cited financial troubles the event endured during its 2012 outing, now preferring to focus their efforts on its parent project.
“Many of you have been asking about the return of No Direction Home Festival,” an official statement reads. “We have decided not to continue with this event for the foreseeable future and focus our efforts on End of the Road. It was a difficult decision given the popularity of NDH, but one that has the interests of EOTR at heart.”
2012′s event featured the likes of Richard Hawley, Andrew Bird, Dirty Three, Gruff Rhys, Slow Club and Austra.
End Of The Road 2014 runs from 29-31 August, with tickets available here.
