Foals, The Killers and Biffy Clyro all won big at last night’s NME Awards.

This year’s ceremony saw Foals pick up the coveted ‘Best Track’ prize, while The Killers and Biffy walked away with ‘Best International Band’ and ‘Best British Band’ respectively.

Elsewhere, Palma Violets won ‘Best New Band’, Rolling Stones were awarded ‘Best Live Band’, while Arctic Monkeys took home ‘Best Music Video’.

One Direction saw the brunt of the indie fan’s loathing, being labelled ‘Worst Band’, while member Harry Styles was marred with ‘Villain of the Year’.

Haim’s Alana Haim won the ‘Best Twitter’ prize, while Barack Obama was voted ‘Hero of the Year’. Sadly, he was not there to accept the award.
