A city in the home state of late Nirvana musician Kurt Cobain have declared a day in the band’s honour.
Hoquiam, Washington was the home of Cobain for a short time and will now pay tribute to the band on 10 April 2014.
Mayor Jack Durney said: ” and Krist Novoselic are part of our community, and I think it’s good to honor our sons and their great accomplishments.”
10 April is also the same day that the grunge band will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
