Nils Frahm: 'Unter'

The best things come in small packages – at least that’s what my mum told me the year I only got acorns for my birthday. But in the case of this new video from Nils Frahm it might well be true.

Recorded on a piano in Frahm’s Berlin flat, ‘Unter’ is a beautiful 1:30 track that inspired German filmmaker Ralph Etter to capture the mezmerising scenes of barley blowing in the breeze. When the images and audio combine waves of calm ebb in every direction.
