Nicki Minaj used the Met Gala to announce new album Queen
The Met Gala's red carpet was a perfect place to unveil new album Queen for Nicki Minaj
It's been four years since her last album The Pinkprint, but Nicki Minaj has been as busy as ever appearing on featured tracks with the likes of Migos, Cardi B, Future, DJ Khaled, and 2 Chainz.
Taking to the red carpet in a trailing ombre red dress, the iconic female rapper used the spotlight on her red carpet walk to unveil her first album release since 2014.
Called Queen, the new album will be dropping on 15 June.
Having already revealed two new tracks "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz", Nicki Minaj stated in a Beats1 Zane Lowe interview that she will also be working on a documentary that focuses on the creation of new album Queen.
