Bad Seeds singer Nick Cave appeared on Thursday’s episode of comedian Marc Maron’s podcast, which is called WTF.
Two two talked about Cave’s earliest experiences as a performer and how he grew up in Australia watching the same kind of American comedy shows Maron did.
Before the interview, however, the comedian admitted that getting the singer to open up was no easy task.
Maron said about the interview, “I don’t have any experience of Nick Cave. I don’t know him personally. I’ve never listened to other interviews of him, but I was getting frustrated.” He added, “I remember thinking, ‘please talk to me!’ I was needy with Nick Cave.”
