Nic Hessler celebrates debut album release with new track "Do You Ever?"
Captured Tracks signee Nic Hessler released his long-anticipated debut album this week, and celebrated by streaming new song "Do You Ever?" online.
It's been five years since Hessler first signed to Captured Tracks under the moniker Catwalk. After progress halted following the diagnosis of a rare but treatable autoimmune disorder, the artist has finally put out his debut full-length Soft Connections.
"Do You Ever?" is a standout track from the release. Bubbling riffs, vibrant rhythms, and distinctively crooning vocals craft out a blissful jangling pop tapestry. Light and luscious as a summer breeze, Hessler's soothingly soft vocals are the pefect balm to the songs sweltering refrains. "Do you ever think about me?" the lyrics coo invitingly. If you didn't before, you certainly will now.
Soft Connections is out now via Captured Tracks.
