New Order have confirmed that they’ve signed to Mute for their next LP.
The album will be their first original release since 2005 and their 10th studio effort.
“We made a conscious decision with this next set of material for it to be more synth and dance-based,” the band say in a press release. “More dance orientated and keyboard orientated. We’re pretty excited about that.”
Meanwhile, Mute boss Daniel Miller has called the news an “exciting new chapter for both Mute and New Order”.
