Bristol threesome New Carnival have lifted the lid on funktacular new track "Sweet Caroline".
It's led by a ballsy, slithering attention-hogging bassline and fluttering funk guitars - this song demands full-body boogieing. New Carnival blur '80s disco grooves, indie-pop smoothness, and slinky shadows on "Sweet Caroline", and the result is a modern-day strut soundtrack - if Saturday Night Fever ever gets remade, this needs to be involved.
The new single is out 18 March via Spinnup.
