New app Forgotify streams 4 million songs never played on Spotify

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Store” may have been streamed over 160 million times to date, but there are still 4 million songs on Spotify that have never been played even once. Newly-launched app Forgotify attempts to change this.
Forgotify is a new website that randomises a different 0 play track for its listeners, unlocking lost gems for users, as well as admittedly some duds.
You can check it out right now here. 4.5 billion hours of music was streamed on Spotify in 2013 alone, that’s the equivalent of 500,000 years.
