Neutral Milk Hotel to make unreleased boxset tracks pay-as-you-wish downloads
With Neutral Milk Hotel defying even their most optimistic of fans’ wildest dreams and reforming for a series of live dates earlier this week, it was understandable that news regarding their boxset release might go unnoticed.
The band are currently selling a reissue of their two full-length albums (In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and On Avery Island), two 12″ short-players (Everything Is EP and Ferris Wheel on Fire EP), a duo of 7″s (‘Little Birds’ and ‘You’ve Passed/Where You’ll Find Me Now’) and ‘Holland 1945/Engine’ picture-disc vinyl all together via their official website.
But now, the band will also make all the previously unreleased tracks available as pay-what-you-wish downloads, as soon as they get round to setting up a Bandcamp page…
The boxset costs $88 and will be shipped in “2-3 weeks” and looks like the image depicted below:
