
Netflix's Kanye West documentary jeen-yuhs gets release date
The first act of Netflix's new Kanye West documentary, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, has been given a release date.
After sharing various images and teaser clips from jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy over recent months, Netflix has shared the release date for the first part of the documentary that's been over 21 years in the making.
Alongside sharing another one-minute teaser trailer, Netflix announced that the first act of jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will be arriving on 16 February, and will mark the start of the three-week global event that will feature the release of the second and third part of the trilogy.

Rolling Stone reports that jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will also get a US theater release on 10 February.
Billboard reported in April that Netflix acquired the documentary for $30 million from TIME Studios and film production duo Coodie & Chike (who directed West's "Jesus Walks (Version 3)" and "Through the Wire" videos).
