
Netflix's fictional series about Spotify due for release in 2022
Netflix's upcoming fictional series inspired by the Spotify Untold book has started production and is set for release next year.
The series, which is currently untitled, has, according to Variety, started production and is set to be a six-part limited series about Spotify founder Daniel Ek.
Netflix's upcoming series will star Edvin Endre (Vikings) as Daniel Ek, Ulf Stenberg (Beartown) as Per Sundin, Gizem Erdogan (Caliphate) as Petra Hansson, Joel Lützow (Gåsmamman) as Andreas Ehn and Christian Hillborg (The Last Kingdom) as Martin Lorentzon.
The fictional show is inspired by Sven Carlsson and Jonas Leijonhufvud's Spotify Untold book, which documented Spotify's journey including conflicts with Steve Jobs, Taylor Swift and Bob Dylan.
