Alan Palomo, singer of Neon Indian, has given a talk about the "myth of the auteur", entitled Auteurs In The Ether. Riffing on Gorillas In The Mist?
Palomo's talk - held at Martha's Vineyard as part of a TEDx conference - aims to answer the question: “If your inspiration comes from an inner monologue or an open dialogue, does either one make it any less original an expression?”
It's an intriguing look at technology, inspiration, creativity and auteurism via his own experiences in Neon Indian.
