Neil Young's back catalogue now available on streaming services
Iconic Canadian singer/songwriter Neil Young has put his entire back catalogue onto major streaming services.
Young yanked his music from streaming services last summer after a spat about sound quality."It's not because of the money, although my share (like all the other artists) was dramatically reduced by bad deals made without my consent..." he wrote on Facebook at the time. "It's about sound quality. I don't need my music to be devalued by the worst quality in the history of broadcasting or any other form of distribution. I don't feel right allowing this to be sold to my fans. It's bad for my music."
It's unclear exactly what has changed his mind, but the sound quality and royalties in 2016 aren't all that different - if at all different. For now let's not think too much - let's just bask in the glory of Young's music being streamable again.
