Neil Young ends lawsuit against Donald Trump campaign over use of his music
Neil Young has reportedly ended the lawsuit he filed against the Donald Trump campaign following the use of his songs at rallies without permission.
Back in August Young confirmed via his Neil Young Archives site that he had filed a lawsuit against the Trump campaign after they played Young's "Rockin’ in the Free World" and "Devil's Sidewalk" songs at political events without his permission.
Yesterday (7 December), New York Times‘ Ben Sisario posted a screenshot to Twitter of a legal document that claims Young "voluntarily dismisses all of his claims against Donald J. Trump for President Inc. with prejudice, with each party to bear its own costs, fees, and expenses. This dismissal disposes of the entire action."

The voluntary dismissal of all claims with prejudice means Young cannot refile the case.
