The so-called ‘naked’ version of The Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be has been released digitally for the first time today.
Let It Be… Naked shows the original recordings from the sessions stripped of infamous producer Phil Spector’s famous “Wall of Sound” production techniques.
The digital version of the record, initially released physically back in 2003, includes additional recordings of “rarely heard musical fragments” and even some “witty banter”. It’ll be interesting to see who’s the biggest wise-cracker, eh?
The record’s available now via iTunes.
