*N Sync's Lance Bass responds to reunion rumours
-
Rumours speculating that pop group *N Sync may reunite for a performance at this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The former member of the boy band, Lance Bass has responded to these reports on his radio show after fans demand for a response got too much for the singer.
Bass told listeners: “Justin Timberlake is getting the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award this Sunday at the awards, so of course people are automatically going to think we’re going to be there performing.”
Bass however does fail to deny the reunion, saying:
“I think that’s what started the rumour that there’s going to be this big reunion with ‘Nsync. It’s amazing to see the reaction out there on Twitter and social media, how many people are supporting ‘Nsync. It’s so nice to see because when we ended things 10 years ago, there was no social media, there was no Twitter, but it’s so cute to see how many people are supporting and ‘Nsync was even trending.”
The MTV VMAs will be held in New York this Sunday (25 August).
