My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way shares new single "Here Comes The End"
Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance is back with new single "Here Comes The End", which features Judith Hill.
"Here Comes The End" is Way's first official single of 2020 (he's also been sharing tracks via his SoundCloud throughout lockdown), and follows on from last year's cover of The Turtles' "Happy Together" featuring Ray Toro.
The new single features additional vocals from Judith Hill, and was recorded for Netflix's The Umbrella Academy series, which is based on comic books and graphic novels created by Way and Gabriel Ba.
Way says of the new track, "I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of The Umbrella Academy was being shot. By the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality."
The new single also arrived alongside the trailer for season two of The Umbrella Academy.
