Mumford & Sons' Winston Marshall criticised for praising right-wing journalist Andy Ngo
Mumford & Sons' guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall has been slammed over a now-deleted Tweet in which he praised right-wing journalist and agitator Andy Ngo.
On Saturday (6 March), Marshall shared a controversial Tweet (which has since been deleted) which saw him congratulate Andy Ngo for his "important" book about Antifa, Unmasked.
Marshall also called the Unmasked author and right-wing journalist Andy Ngo a "brave man" for the book release, which has resulted in Marshall being slated online.
Ngo previously associated himself with far-right group the Proud Boys, and is also the editor-at-large of The Post Millennial.
The Mumford & Sons guitarist has since been criticised on Twitter following his praise for Ngo.
Still, at least Laurence Fox has a banjo player for his next album.

Looking forward to the next Mumford and Sons album, Sigh Ngo More.
