Mumford & Sons to headline Iceland Airwaves
Iceland Airwaves have confirmed Mumford & Sons will be headlining the Sunday night, bringing the festival to a close with their signature brand of foot-stomping, heart-pumping folk pop.
The titanic troupe will be playing Reykjavík's iconic Valur Hall on 5 November, following in the footsteps of Sunday headliners such as PJ Harvey and The War On Drugs.
Already on the line-up for the November event, which runs in Reykjavík and Akureyri from the 1-5 November, are Michael Kiwanuka, Songhoy Blues, Nilüfer Yanya, Torres, Fleet Foxes, Arab Strap, Kelly Lee Owens, Mammút, Stefflon Don, Emmsje Gauti, and lots more. Find out the full lineup so far.
500 tickets for Mumford & Sons will be available from 11am BST on 25 July, with the remaining tickets available to Iceland Airwaves ticket holders from the Media Center (moved to Bio Paradis this year) from 5pm on 4 November.
