Mount Eerie confirms new album consisting of auto-tuned versions of old tracks
Phil Elverum, aka Mount Eerie, has re-recorded a collection of songs from two of the albums he released last year - Clear Moon and Ocean Roar - prepping them for release as new LP Pre-Human Ideas.
Pre-Human Ideas will see the old cuts re-imagined in auto-tune, with ”newly written lyrics” making them “almost like new songs layered over the old ones, expanding and clarifying the ideas”.
Listen to ‘Lone Bell’ beneath. The album comes out 12 November.
