Morrissey cancels another show, drops opening act
Earlier this week, Morrissey cancelled a show in Atlanta due to illness. Now he’s scrapped another.
The proposed show at Atlantic City’s Revel Casino Hotel has been rescheduled from 6 June to 22 June, while no additional date for the Atlanta show has yet been announced.
It’s also been revealed that the shows will no longer be opened by Kristeen Young, who was also thought to have contracted a virus but has since denied this via Twitter.
Meanwhile, a statement posted to Facebook says that “The tour will resume as originally scheduled, without question, at the Boston Opera House on Saturday, June 7”.
Morrissey’s new album World Peace is None of Your Business is out on 15 July via Harvest.
