Morrissey autobiography to be published by Penguin Books “within the next few weeks”
Despite pulling the plug on his planned memoirs just last week, it now looks like we may actually get to read Morrissey’s new book after all.
Fan site True To You previously reported that a ”last minute disagreement” with publishers Penguin Books meant that the succinctly-entitled book, Autobiography, would not be released on 16 September as previously planned, with the project put on hold until Moz could find another publishing company.
The same site now say that there’s been a change in developments, with the book supposedly still on its way:
“This is a deal for the UK and Europe, but Morrissey has no contract with a publisher for the U.S. or any other territory. As of 13 September, Morrissey and Penguin (UK) remain determined to publish within the next few weeks,” a statement reads.
