Morrissey finally released his previously dubious-sounding memoirs this week, with the mystery-shrouded book heading to the top of the book charts after just a day on sale.
Many stores sold out of the book – simply entitled Autobiography – before close yesterday, with it also topping the Amazon charts.
Meanwhile, Billboard reveal that the curious decision of making the previously-unreleased book a ‘Penguin Classic’ was a condition written into the contract by Morrissey himself, something his deal with publishers Penguin hinged upon.
Find out some revelations from the book itself here and watch comedian Peter Serafinowicz sing passages from it.
