Moog and Korg offer synth apps for free following coronavirus outbreak
Following the spread of coronavirus, Moog and Korg have made their synth apps free to keep people busy while they're self-isolating.
The COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in government officials around the world encouraging people to stay indoors until the virus blows over.
Musicians have been forced to cancel shows and releases, and multiple festivals have postponed or completely cancelled their 2020 events.
Over the weekend, Moog and Korg made their synth apps available for free to keep musicians and creatives entertained while self-isolating.
Moog describe making their Minimoog Model D iOS app free as a "gift to spread positivity, creativity, and expressivity. A moment to slow down, appreciate our innate strength, & experience the uplifting power of sound."
