Mollie King reunites with Xenomania for Big Pop Moment "Hair Down"
Ex-Saturdays' and Strictly Come Dancing star Mollie King's Xenomania collaboration is finally here.
"Hair Down" is a classic by-the-numbers Xenomania production - messy and lyrically gibberish (but it's 2017 so there's horns too) - and comes with a video that recalls Rachel Stevens' best visuals.
"Hair Down" follows the not-quite-a-banger "Back To You" as the second single from King's debut record. It's her first collab as a solo artist with Xenomania's Brian Higgins, who wrote and produced The Saturdays' “All Fired Up" way back in 2011. She's also working with Xenomania's Florrie, who we still love because of this.
King's debut long-player sees the likes of Chiara Hunter (Paloma Faith), Fiona Bevan (Antigoni Buxton), Chelcee Grimes (Kesha), Tayla Parx (Liza Owen), Rachel Furner (Sam Smith), Cara Salimando (Dua Lipa), Britt Burton (Jessie J), Grace Barker (Rita Ora) and Nina Nesbitt (Olivia Holt) on writing duties.
She's also roped in some decent names for production, including Mac & Phil (Leona Lewis), Red Triangle (Fleur East), Cutfather (Ella Henderson), Jonny Lattimer (Sinead Harnett), Knightstarr (Pixie Lott), The Rascals (Kelly Rowland), Electric (Imani Williams) and KIN (Tamera Foster).
