Mogwai: ‘Rano Pano’

Taken from their forthcoming album Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will (due out February 14), ‘Rano Pano’ is the latest offering from Scottish post-rockers Mogwai. The video was created in collaboration with digital artists and DJ Konx Om Pax, who is set to support the band on their tour next month. Distorted guitar strums crackle and fizz as they build, layer upon layer, while two friends lark about their flat. As the sharp percussion, crisp symbols and elevating keys kick in the narrative pays homage to the film ‘Weird Science’ in a beautifully lo-fi manner.
