Mogwai reveal "We're Not Done (End Title)", the second release from upcoming Kin soundtrack
Mogwai will be dropping a feature film soundtrack in August. "We're Not Done (End Title)" is the second track lifted from the sci-fi movie Kin.
In April the Scottish post-rock band Mogwai revealed "Donuts", which arrived with the announcement of their new feature film soundtrack.
The film, which stars Jack Reynor, Zoë Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid, and James Franco isn't the first soundtrack for the group. They've previously scored Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait, The Fountain, and have had their music featured on other visual projects.
"We're Not Done (End Title)" is the final song on the Kin soundtrack.
Speaking about their upcoming release, Stuart Braithwaite explained, "We were really excited to be asked to record the original score for Jonathan and Josh Baker’s debut movie KIN. It was amazing to do a project that was so different to anything we’ve done before and see how our music fits in a totally different environment to how it’s been used before. The music in the film is some of my favourite Mogwai has ever made and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”
