Mitski uncovers a nasty secret in her "Happy" video
Mitski's pulled back the curtain on her vid for "Happy", and it's a surprisingly gory affair.
This single is the second from Mitski's upcoming LP Puberty 2, following the utterly magical "Your Best American Girl".
Of the video, Mitski says: "This video is all Maegan Houang. She's in LA and I'm in NY, so I emailed her vague ideas about what the video should be, and she turned around and came back with a completely out of the box narrative that blew us all away. So I just went, 'right, I'm going to trust you on this and have you do what you want.' Sometimes the best thing to do is to step back and let people do what they're good at."
Puberty 2 is out 17 June via Dead Oceans. It follows 2014's Bury Me At Makeout Creek.
