Mitski, David Byrne and Moses Sumney to feature on Everything Everywhere All at Once soundtrack
It's been revealed that Mitski, David Byrne and Moses Sumney will contribute new songs to the Everything Everywhere All at Once soundtrack.
Everything Everywhere All at Once, directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, will be accompanied by a huge 49-track album, which will include Son Lux's original score, as well as new songs from Mitski and David Byrne, Moses Sumney, and more.
According to Consequence, Mitski and Byrne will duet on the opening track "This is a Life", and Sumney will contribute new song "Fence".
André 3000 will play flute on multiple tracks including "My Life Without You", "The Boxcutter", "Dog Fight" and "Pinky Fight", and the album will also feature contributions from Randy Newman and Stephanie Hsu.
Son Lux said of the score, "Even though we knew from the moment Daniels asked us to score this film that it would push us in new and unexpected directions, we couldn’t have predicted how much we’d learn from the project. What emerged was our most ambitious undertaking to date, over two years in the making, resulting in two hours of new music. It was an opportunity for us to play, to infuse humor into our work, and to experiment from and beyond our various musical backgrounds."
