Mike Dean says he hasn't "quit anything" after reports he walked away from Kanye West's Donda
Mike Dean has clarified that he hasn't "quit anything" after reports suggested he had left Atlanta and wasn't working on Kanye West's Donda album anymore.
Yesterday (15 August) producer Mike Dean wrote on Twitter, "I haven’t quit anything. The album continues. Lol. People read too much into tweets. Lol."

His update comes after he previously responded to fans speculating over Kanye West's Donda album by writing, "Toxic. That's It", which led to reports that he had stopped working on the album due to a toxic environment.
Dean confronted those reports on Twitter yesterday too, writing, "I mean toxic fans asking question u moron writers. Jesus. People take shutout of context. Lol. Bye."

There's currently no concrete release date for Donda. Kanye West has hosted two listening party events at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium since July, and after missing two release dates - 23 July and 6 August - fans aren't holding their breath for the 22 August release date listed on iTunes.
Kanye West's Donda album might arrive on 22 August.
