Michael Eavis says Glastonbury 2014 headliners are acts that “haven't played the festival before”
Speaking at last night’s AIM Awards, Glastonbury founder and booker Michael Eavis gave clues to who could be headlining next year’s festival.
While Mumford & Sons, Arctic Monkeys and the Rolling Stones topped the bill this summer, 2014′s line-up will be headed by three bands or artists who have never even been to Worthy Farm.
Next year’s headliners are more or less in place. They’re three bands who haven’t played Glastonbury, and that’s important,” Eavis told NME.
“There aren’t many bands left who haven’t played the festival, and before we run out I’d like to persuade the ones on my wish list to come down. I think I’ve managed that with these three.”
Who could it be? We’ll just have to wait and see.
