MGMT want to collaborate with Pond

MGMT are quoted in a recent interview as saying that they would like to work with Aussie psych outfit Pond.
The two bands have not yet had the chance to do so, but do know each other through Pond’s close connection to compatriots Tame Impala, who supported MGMT on tour in 2010.
MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden revealed in a recent interview with Triple J that they are hoping to collaborate with the band, saying ”We always try to get up in the mix with those guys. Maybe we’ll do something crazy together.”
MGMT and Pond are on the same bill for the Falls/Southbound festival later on in the year, so who knows what might happen.
