MGMT recruiting fans to play the cowbell on stage
If you’ve seen a MGMT concert lately, or caught their recent Letterman performance, you’ll know that they utilise a rather gigantic cowbell during their sets. Now, they’re recruiting an extra member solely to play the instrument on stage with them.
But instead of taking to Craigslist or Gumtree, the group have launched a contest for fans to win the chance to play the giant cowbell with them at one of their shows. All you have to do is record a “creative” clip of you performing it on Instagram.
The shows that MGMT need an extra member at are Detroit, Louisville, Charlotte, Durham, Richmond, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Wallingford, Atlanta and Washington DC.
