With their new album out next week, MGMT took to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to perform tracks from it, donning their wetsuits and diving equipment for the occasion.
The aquatic theme was for song ‘Plenty of Girls in the Sea’, with the band also performing the LP’s lead cut ‘Alien Days’. The performance was much better received than their recent outing on Letterman, with The Roots’ Questlove tweeting that the group “set a performance standard” for their performance.
