MGMT took to the Late Show with David Letterman last night (22 August) to promote their upcoming third album, turning in a contentious performance that attracted the ire of fans online.
“MGMT must’ve been so tripped out that they forgot to play the other two minutes of that song,” said one commenter, while others have not been so restrained.
You can watch their performance of ‘Your Life Is A Lie’ below, along with one pretty damn huge cowbell. The band’s self-titled new album comes out on 17 September.
